Why is it called x86?
Have you ever wondered where the x86 name for computer cores comes from? In fact, this comes from the Intel 8086 processor family. After 8086, 80186, 80286 and others were launched one after another. However, since 80386 began to adopt 32-bit architecture, x86 became a general term for all processors compatible with the 8086 instruction set. It is still an indispensable cornerstone of Taiwan's computer industry.
