In order to better serve Jiangsu's science and technology innovation "going out" and "bringing in", on the afternoon of June 6, Jiangsu International Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation Center led representatives of Saudi Arabia Maramer Group to visit Nanjing Forestry University's MaterialsscienceAndengineeringThe institute seeks scientific and technological cooperation.
To better serve Jiangsu's “going global” and “inviting in” initiatives for science and technology, on the afternoon of June 13th, the Jiangsu Provincial International Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation Center ice representatives from the Saudi Maramer Group to visit the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanjing Forestry University to explore technological cooperation.
This trip was specially designed to visit Zhou Jianbin, professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Forestry University, foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Academician Zhou has been engaged in the teaching, research and industrialization of biomass energy and carbon materials for more than 30 years. He has trained more than 40 master's and doctoral students, published more than 100 academic papers, published 5 monographs and textbooks, and chaired and participated in national, provincial and ministerial programs. There are more than 20 scientific research projects at the national level, more than 30 authorized national invention patents, and 12 provincial and ministerial appraisal results. It has won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Progress Award. The first prize for scientific and technological progress, the first prize for Liang Xi’s forestry scientific and technological progress award from the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, etc.
During this visit, they specifically met with Professor, Ph.D. supervisor, Nanjing Forestry University's academician, Dr. Zhou Jianbin. Academician Zhou has been engaged in teaching, research, and industrialization of biomass energy and carbon materials for over 30 years. He has supervised more than 40 master's and doctoral students, published over 100 academic papers, authored 5 monographs and textbooks, led and participated in more than 20 national and provincial-level research projects, obtained more than 30 national invention patents, and achieved recognition from provincial and ministerial authorities for 12 achievements. He has also won numerous awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress First Prize, the National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Progress First Prize, the Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Progress First Prize, and the National Forestry Bureau Liangxi Forestry Science and Technology Progress First Prize.
Academician Zhou pioneered the world's first "biomass gasification heat, electricity, gas, carbon, fertilizer multi-generation technology" and achieved large-scale industrialization (in Anhui, Hebei, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hunan, Zhejiang, Yunnan and other provinces and abroad) , explored a "green, low-carbon, cyclical and sustainable" development path for the utilization of agricultural and forestry biomass, formed a biomass gasification power generation combined production of carbon, fertilizer and heat industry chain, promoted and led the world's biomass energy (Gasification power generation, heat supply, heating), biomass carbon (activated carbon, industrial carbon, machine-made barbecue charcoal), biomass fertilizer (biomass carbon base fertilizer, liquid fertilizer) and other industry technology developments.
Academician Zhou's work involves biomass gasification for power generation, combined with the co-production of activated charcoal, charcoal-based fertilizers, and liquid fertilizers. The waste heat from the power generators is used to produce hot water for use in bathrooms and hotels in Chengde's Pingquan City, replacing small coal-fired boilers. After the waste heat is cooled in heat recovery boilers, the exhaust gases are introduced into vegetable greenhouses. This process serves to provide greenhouse heating, supplement carbon dioxide, and enhance photosynthesis in plants.
Academician Zhou discussed biomass gasification power generation and grid-connected co-production of activated carbon, carbon-based fertilizer, and liquid fertilizer. The waste heat of the generator exhaust generates hot water for use in bathrooms and restaurants in Pingquan City, Chengde (replacing small coal-fired boilers). After being cooled by the waste heat boiler The exhaust gas is input into vegetable greenhouses to heat the greenhouses, supplement carbon dioxide, strengthen plant photosynthesis, achieve energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection, and provide a green development model for regional clean energy heating and rural greenhouse heating in China.
This approach has achieved energy efficiency, emission reduction, and environmental benefits, establishing a green development model for regional clean energy supply and rural greenhouse heating in China.
Saudi Arabian representative Ms. Que Hecen said: "Everyone has different motivations for work.confused, stagnation and difficult trials, it is work that can instantly bring a bright line of communication and hope! '
Ho tsen chueh as Saudi Maramer Group representative said: 'Motivation for work varies greatly among individuals. When I face confusion, stagnation, and the trials of adversity, it is work that provides an immediate source of brightness and hope!'
In the follow-up discussion, both sides discussed creating recycling value from plant waste and helping plants and crops in the context of Saudi Arabia’s environment, soil and climate.healthyAnd double the output to enter into in-depth research. Academician Zhou gave a detailed explanation of his agricultural and forestry biomass thermal power plant charcoal fertilizer cogeneration technology. Mr. Que, the representative of Saudi Arabia Maramer Group, expressed great interest in the project and a strong willingness to cooperate.
During the subsequent discussion, both parties delved into the creation of recycling and reuse value from plant waste and discussed in-depth research on promoting the health and increased productivity of plants and crops under the environmental, soil, and climatic conditions in Saudi Arabia. Academician Zhou provided a detaiice explanation of his technology for multi-output production of agricultural and forestry biomass thermoelectric char fertilizers. The representatives from Saudi Maramer Group, led by Ho tsen chueh, expressed strong interest in this project and a keen desire for cooperation.
